Dr. David Rosene received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Additionally, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master of Philosophy in Anthropology (Primate Behavior) from Yale University.
Dr. Rosene is married to Julie Sattler Rosene, a retired television producer and retired Communications Professor. Julie is the co-founder of the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. They have two children, Emily and Erin.
Their older daughter, Emily, is a Family Medicine physician with a special interest in population based medicine, and public health. Emily lives in the Milwaukee area with her husband, Mark, and their three children.
Their younger daughter, Erin, holds dual Masters degrees in romance languages and modern foreign language education. She is currently a Middle School Foreign Language Teacher at a private school in Boston.
Dr. Rosene retired in the Summer of 2023 and is now enjoying spending time with family, going to the movies, water sports, and playing soccer.
