Julie started working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 1991 as a veterinary assistant. Eventually she completed courses in the veterinary technician program at Cedar Valley College and obtained her CVT license. She is the clinic's Hospital Manager and oversees all of the staff and is responsible for much of the general functioning of the business. She is a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady" and enjoys interacting with every cat she sees, even the challenging ones! She shares her Caledonia home with three nutty cats - a lazy, round torbie named Olive, a wild skinny torbie named Bean & an overly cuddly ginger girl named Nugget. She is also the proud owner of a flock of sweet chickens!
